By placing an order using this website you are accepting these Terms & Conditions. Please read these Terms & Conditions before placing an order. In these Terms & Conditions "We" and "us" means Tom Coll Jewellery Limited. "You" means the person placing the order. "The contract is agreed" - by completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. An acceptance email from us confirms that the contract is formed. "Working days" means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and Scottish statutory and public holidays.

Ordering
By completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Please note orders will only be dispatched once we have authorisation of your payment. We will not be liable if there is a delay, and we will not accept your order if payment is not authorised. The following steps must be followed to form a valid contract: After you have placed your order we will send you an email acknowledgement of your order confirming the goods you have ordered. This email is not an order acceptance from us. When we dispatch your goods we will send you a confirmation email. This is our formal acceptance of the order and means we are formally obliged to complete the contract. We are not obliged to accept your order if for example: * we do not have the goods in stock * your payment is not authorised * there is an error on our website regarding the price or other details of the goods * you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions below We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Customer Support and Service
If you have a complaint about our goods, services or any other aspect of our business, you can email us using our Contact Us form. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 2 working days and with this acknowledgement we will give an indication of the time we are likely to take in resolving the matter. We will keep all correspondence confidential. Complaints and general support enquiries by telephone should be made using the following telephone number (01412483487) Mon to Sat, 9.00am until 5.00pm. Telephone calls to this telephone number are charged at the standard UK national rate. These terms do not affect a consumer's statutory rights.

Damaged and Faulty Goods
All deliveries should be inspected on arrival. If there are any signs of damage you should inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the product. Faulty Goods If a fault develops outside the first 12 months from the date of purchase the customer must pay for repair. We will use our discretion in offering replacement items or refunds where we believe the product has not been used within the manufacturer's specifications. Before returning a faulty items please contact us either by telephone (0141 248 3487) or using our Contact Us form. Please ensure that you use the correct postage and we recommend that you obtain a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office. Items posted without this certificate are done so at your own risk. We will include a refund of the postage you have paid to return the faulty item with the replacement goods.

Cancelling and Refunds

Tom Coll Jewellery will provide a full refund or exchange should you receive a faulty item.

To proceed with a bespoke commission, a minimum of 20% of the estimated price is required. This payment is non-refundable. Once item is complete it can not be returned for a refund or exchange.

Refunds can be requested on purchases made in our showroom within 14 days of purchase on items unopened and in original condition.

If you change your mind you may exchange any product at Tom Coll Jewellery, unopened and in original condition, within 30 days from purchase date.

When your item is a special order item, we do not keep stock of this item and we will raise an order through a supplier. In such cases you may not be able to return your goods if they are unwanted, however if you experience problems with your goods or order then please contact the Tom Coll Jewellery support team.

Conflict Diamonds
All diamonds are only acquired through legitimate sources that are not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with the United Nations Resolutions. What are Conflict Diamonds? Conflict Diamonds are diamonds which are illegally traded to fund conflict. "Diamonds that originate from areas controlled by forces or factions opposed to legitimate and internationally recognised governments" United Nations definition of conflict diamonds. What has been done about conflict diamonds? The diamond industry, governments, non-governmental organisations and the United Nations adopted the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme to help eliminate the trade of conflict diamonds. Conflict free diamonds are transported in a tamper-resistant container and must be accompanied by a government-validated Kimberley Process Certificate. Tom Coll insists that all our suppliers guarantee that any diamonds are conflict free.

Fraud Prevention 

Card purchase and payment fraud is unfortunately a strong issue within our industry. It is of utmost importance that we strive for the safety and security of not only our business but our customers too. Please be understanding that is our policy to request photographic ID (passport or drivers licence) when using a debit/credit card to make an in store purchase in excess of £10,000.00.
