Designed by the house of Rolex in 1954 for divers as an underwater watch. The watch is sought after for its resistance to water and corrosion.

This particular model has the rather sought after 'Flat Blue' dial which was produced only for the first couple of years from when Rolex introduced the blue ceramic version of this model around 2009.
