Designed in 1954 in collaboration with pilots and navigators from the former Pan American Airways. A very desirable sports piece with an additional 24 hour hand giving the wearer a second time zone.

The GMT family is also very well known for having a range of nicknames (such as Batman, Root-beer & Zombie), mainly due to the different bezel colour and bracelet combinations.

This particular model has the red & blue ceramic bezel. A colour combo that, for decades, has been referred to as a 'Pepsi'. It's also worth noting that this particular colour scheme has recently been discontinued by Rolex making it extremely sought after and very collectible.
